Account & Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Eduzaar account and associated personal data.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@eduzaar.com from your registered email (or include your registered mobile number).
- Subject line:
Eduzaar Account Deletion Request - We will verify ownership via OTP or registered contact within 7 business days.
- After verification, deletion is processed within 30 days unless retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).
What is deleted
- Profile (name, email, education, goals)
- Saved colleges, scholarships, courses
- Uploaded documents (where not legally retained)
- Action plan, timeline, and in-app preferences
- Push notification tokens
What may be retained
- Payment/invoice records required for tax and accounting (typically up to 7 years as per applicable law).
- Anonymized analytics or logs that cannot identify you.
- Data already shared with institutions/partners for submitted applications (contact them separately).
In-app logout
Logging out removes the session from your device but does not delete server-side data. Use the email process above for full account deletion.
